Birds is a collective name for the latest work. All the bird characters have their story. The plague doctors, all the cardinals en the mechanical birds in a different setting.

Bird box
2020Bird box is a piece for the wall. 2 crows with bowler hats grouped in an iron box with taps, bolts and nuts. Completely made of ceramic.

Crow
2016In a hand-shaped box form with the look of cracked earth. The border consists of an iron-looking twisted tube with bolts, in the box form are three crows. These crows wear black hats. The piece can hang or stand.
Cannon fodder
2014An old meat grinder on wheels, full of birds. It seems as if the birds are the fuel for the meat grinder. The pressed meat comes out of the front through the holes. The crows represent the evil the evil of wars where soldiers are abused for cannon fodder. Many victims have been sent by those in power who know no boundaries or scruples. Again and again there will be mothers and fathers mourning their children in all the wars around the world. cannon fodder stands for that.

Time Traveller
2014The base of this piece is an old vacuum cleaner from the 60s. Whit this as a base, all kinds of parts are added. The oil filter cap has been replaced by a bird figure. The engine block and cylinder head whit a singel spark plug provide visual enhancement. the propeller and the wheels lead you to think he zooms off.

Crows
2014Crows are equipped just like the doctors fought the plague in the middle Ages. The plague Doctor had a big mask on his face. This mask was designed as a kind of filter. The tip of the mask contained herbs intended to make sure that the doctor did not catch the plague. Figurines can hang and stand.
